WFH Mini Movement Break

Every workday at noon I’ll offer a 10 minute mini movement break for all of us Working From Home #WFH on IG Live.

~ Simple practices to bring more ease into your daily (work) life ~

I hope this will help you create habits for a healthy work-life balance during this lockdown. It’s so important to practise #selfcare when everything is happening in the same place.

You can use these throughout the day, whenever you have a mini break, just make them a WFH Mini Movement Break! 🙂

No need to push yourself, a little goes a long way.

It will reset your day and help you to stay centered and calm when challenges arise.


Benefits of taking breaks

I know all too wel how you can get so caught up in what you are doing that you forget to take breaks while working from home. Without the distraction of colleagues around you can get into a “zone” and just keep going. But there is a fine line there, and when you cross it you will start getting less productive, less creative and make mistakes.

And you won’t notice it until it’s too late. This is not just me saying this from experience, there are a lot of studies that support this. Just have a look at this article in Forbes.

Taking regular breaks helps boost productivity and prevents burn-out, to name a few of the benefits.

So no reason to feel guilty, taking care of yourself is not only good for you but actually good for your boss as well! 🙂
