Whatever your views on Easter (religious, spiritual or just love the bunnies, chicks and chocolate ;-), it symbolises new beginnings. It marks the start of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. A great time to learn and incorporate New Habits into your daily life!
Even though the focus in the workshop will be on how to apply Natural Movement in your yoga practise, this goes beyond yoga. It’s a mindset of Ease that will change the way you experience movement.
Why practise Natural Movement in Yoga?
In this workshop we approach the techniques from a yoga* perspective, but the Principles of Natural Movement are also found in Tai Chi and other TCM practices and can be applied in all movement practises. It teaches us to look at how nature behaves as a guideline to achieve more with ease.
If you’re into the ‘No pain, No gain’, we challenge you to try out ‘No pain, MORE Gain’! Experience for yourself that hard work doesn’t have to equal suffering. In fact, when you set yourself up from a place of softness and ease, you can accomplish more and even enjoy the ride!
One of the principles of Natural Movement is ‘Open the Door, Close the Door’.

These principles of Natural Movement might sound a bit theoretical, but you can expect lots of movement. We’ll guide the way through new movement habits that will support you in your yoga AND daily life.
You’ll benefit from applying Natural Movement by using less force (even in a strong yoga class or hiking up a mountain). It’s a way to conserve your energy and create sustainable movement habits that last a lifetime.
And last but not least, it’s going to be a lot of FUN!
