Feeling like a Queen – It’s my birthday!
As a Spring baby, I’ve always loved to celebrate my birthday together with our Queen. My birthday is on the 29th and the Queen of the Netherlands used to celebrate her birthday on the 30th. Which meant we had a holiday, there were Fairs everywhere and everybody was able to come to my birthday party!
Our current King is born a few days earlier than me. So now April 27th is national Kingsday holiday and I still feel very festive and royal with all the celebrations going on. The weather is usually lovely around this time as well – great for having a party outdoors.
This year will be a bit different (i.e. no party), but nonetheless I’m feeling excited for another trip around the sun!
There is always a reason to celebrate life, to be grateful for the abundance around us, if we just slow down, soften and breathe. Let’s all treat ourselves like King & Queen and celebrate Spring together with Ease.
